New video card, windows 7 will not boot. hang on black screen or BSOD?

hi all, i just installed this card: http://www.jaton.com/VGA/graphics_card_d…

as you can see it has win7 support, MS also conforms it: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compati…

I have reinstalled windows, drivers, everything i can think of. still same thing. the computer has a dual boot of 7 and xp, *the card works flawlessly under XP.* windows 7 will either not boot and hang at a black screen, or BSOD and restart.

thx in advanced, i am becoming very inpatient with this da** thing.|||the GPU (graphics processing unit) may not be compatible with your motherboard. Also make sure the unit is in the internal holder correctly. If you have the recovery disks you should reinstall everything and start again. If this does not work you should consult a computer mechanic.|||Don't forget to disable the onboard video card in the BIOS in case your old card was on the motherboard. That can cause problems!
