I installed windows 7 recently on my hp pavilion notebook, which had windows vista, and now when i try to open?

windows games, such as solitaire, a window pops up saying

"hardware acceleration is either disabled or not supported by your video card driver, which could slow game performance. Make sure you have the latest video card driver installed and that hardware accelertion is turned on."



I have no idea what that means, so if anyone can help, please.|||Find out which video card you have and download a driver update for it from the company's website.|||You haven't installed the drivers for your computers hardware. You need to install the graphics card driver and the drivers for other built in peripherals. Typically they will be available on the HP website under support, downloads.|||i hav just changed my OS from vista to 7 and had no problems so far.

for convenience, reinstall your video card driver so it will be repaired..|||this is quiet simple, windows 7 does not support your hp pavilion notebook. You have learned the hard way, and wasted money, Windows 7 was NOT designed for Netbooks or NoteBooks. or low end laptops It was designed for High end Computer Systems,

When Netbooks and Notebook where being developed. they was developed to be cheap and run with Linux Operating systems in mind. because Linux will run on ten year old 386 computer systems with 128 megabytes of ram with no problems what so ever.

If your in the states you will never see a computer in best buys. or any other store for that matter for sale with Linux on. why because these stores make more money selling and supporting Microsoft Products, and selling anti virus software when window crashes or get a trojan virus what happens you take your computer in to these stores and they reinstall windows at a high price,



With Linux it is FREE It's secure, it never crashes, it never get a virus, it runs year in year out without any problems. it is upgraded every 6 months that's why stores don't want to sell system with Linux on once that system goes through their shop doors thats the last that store will see that computer, Linux is 10 years ahead of windows and Apple Mac,



now what you can do is download any one of Linux operating systems for free with all the software you will ever need, all free, and you will never have a bit of trouble with
