Parallels Desktop Mac Windows 7 Flight Simulator X Problem?

Hi guys,

I have parallels and windows 7 installed on me Macbook Pro 13' and when ever i open Flight Simulator X is starts to load and then it says, Flight Simulator is not working with your video card. Please make sure you have the latest drivers installed. Flight Simulator will now close.

I cant find drivers and i have the latest parallels tools installed. If you guys could help me fix it that would be great thanks.|||UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. paralels is the worst software. If you ike it great but I HATE IT. What I use is bootcamp. It comes with mac. it is in the utilities. All you need is to get a copy of a windows operating system. The only problem is you can't run mac and windows side by side. However bootcamp is free, and it gives you basiclay a windows computer without buying one. All you have to do is devote some hardware to it. When you start up your computer you descide wether you want to go on mac or windows.

Hope I Helped

Unable to install Realtek AC'97 driver (Windows 7 Gigabyte GA-K8VT890-9 VIA k8T890 chipset onboard audio)?

Hi, hopefully you can help me.

I have recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate on my PC. My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-K8VT890-9 with VIA k8T890 chipset, onboard audio is Realtek AC'97.

I had to dig around for a Realtek AC'97 audio driver for Windows 7 (gigabyte have not updated their hosted driver since 2005), but I was able to find a driver, which was installed successfully. I had working onboard sound.

Long story short my partition table corrupted and I've had to reinstall Windows 7. After some problems with digital signture verifications, I am now finding that my on-board audio remains undetected. Installing the drivers does not help as Windows just does not recognise the device. I've tried numerous different driver versions but though they all install correctly, the device is still not recognised.

Windows does recognise the HDMI output of my video card, but not the onboard sound.

If anyone has any ideas that may assist me, please let me know

Thanks.|||If you can’t find the right Realtek drivers manually I would recommend just getting a software program that can do it for you. There is a program I use which will find drivers for just about all hardware devices. The best part is it takes a snapshot of your system specifications and matches the right driver to go with it. Perform a free driver scan at:

Also, you can get the driver from their official sites:

What driver do I have to install to have the aero effect on my windows 7 computer?

I have a used to be windows xp computer, and I just ugraded to windows 7. The problem is that the drivers can't run the aero effect. I tried updating, but it was already updated. Please help, my video card is a Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express Chipset Family.|||You're using an integrated video chipset. Everything Mobile Intel below 945 does not have the correct DirectX Version support or Pixel Shader Model for it to run Windows 7's aero.

You should of downloaded the upgrade advisor on Microsoft's site before buying 7. Unfortunately you can't get aero unless you're on a desktop and can install a video card, but if you're on a laptop you have no options but to run it without aero, which honestly isn't the true windows 7 experience.

Q: Why doesn't Intel 915 graphic chipset family support aero?

A: The overall graphics architecture and design of the 915 Express chipset family (with Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 900 graphics engine) was finalized prior to Microsoft releasing details and specifications around the Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) driver. Given this, there are hardware limitations in the 915 Express chipset architecture that would limit graphics performance and memory capabilities when attempting to run WDDM on 7.

The hardware limitations of 915/GMA900 graphics center around not having a large enough memory table to support 7 Aero, a key feature that is part of WDDM driver support. This, along with hardware restrictions on surface placement and graphics memory alignment, results in graphics memory usage that is not optimized for Aero performance. Additionally, the lack of native hardware support in the 915 Express chipset family for 7’s dynamic memory management would result in slower graphics performance and a sub-optimal user experience with Windows 7's Aero.

With these identified limitations, the 915/GMA900-based graphics system would not have met the performance requirements for Aero desktop composition support under 7. This ultimately led to the decision to begin WDDM support with the Intel 945 Express chipset products, as Intel addressed these hardware limitations with the desktop and mobile Intel 945 Express chipset families.

To provide the best performance and user experience with Windows 7 on Intel 915/GMA900 platforms, Intel will support Windows 7 on 915/GMA900 with the drivers based on the XP driver model.|||Check with computers manufacture to get the drivers, then check for all other drivers and load them to disk for the future|||Hello Josan,

You have learned the hard way, and wasted money, Windows 7 was NOT designed for Netbooks or NoteBooks. or low end laptops It was designed for High end Computer Systems,

Explanation. on how Microsoft works,

When Netbooks and Notebook where being developed. they was developed to be cheap and run with Linux Operating systems in mind. because Linux will run on ten year old 386 computer systems with 128 megabytes of ram with no problems what so ever.

Microsoft realized this they know that Vista and 7 would not run on these new systems, so what they did was to cut both operating systems down to the bone so that they would run on them, but a lot of the function would not work. MS knows that once Linux becomes known they are dead ducks in the water, They also knew that people would rush out and buy windows 7 if it was advertised and pushed by there outlets,

If your in the states you will never see a computer in best buys. or any other store for that matter for sale with Linux on. why because these stores make more money selling and supporting Microsoft Products, and selling anti virus software when window crashes or get a trojan virus what happens you take your computer in to these stores and they reinstall windows at a high price,

With Linux it is FREE It's secure, it never crashes, it never get a virus, it runs year in year out without any problems. it is upgraded every 6 months that's why stores don't want to sell system with Linux on once that system goes through their shop doors thats the last that store will see that computer, Linux is 10 years ahead of windows and Apple Mac,

now what you can do is download any one of Linux operating systems for free with all the software you will ever need, all free, and you will never have a bit of trouble with

HP's new Linux system is called MIE (Mobile Internet Experience) what you want for your is Ubuntu UNR (Notebook Remix)

Why does my video driver revert to the previous version after computer restart?

When I install an updated driver for my video card on my Windows 7 machine, it works great. I can use the full capabilities of the GPU no problem. The thing is though, when I restart my computer, it reverts back to the old version! How do I make the new driver to stick, even after a restart? I've tried looking this up on tons of forums and google, but can find nothing.|||If your computer always restart, There are some reason:

I. It's Hot in There

Sometimes this can be caused by an overheating situation. Itunes, RealPlayer, Windows Media player, etc. require a lot of processing power to decompress and decode music files, which can cause the processor or hard drive to get hot.

Memory Fails Me...

If you determine that overheating is not the problem, the most likely suspect is bad memory.

II. Don't Do Me Any Favors

There's a setting buried in Windows XP that tells your computer to restart when a system error occurs. you turn off that option, you may solve your automatic reboot problem.

1) Click Start, then open Control Panel

2) Click Performance and Maintenance

3) Click System

4) Click on the Advanced Tab

5) Click Settings in the Startup and Recovery section

6) Uncheck Automatically Restart in the System failure section

Note that this may prevent the system from restarting, but it can also mask the true problem.

The most common cause of computer restarting is a corrupt registry.

Most likely your registry is bloated and overstuffed with an assortment of useless pieces of data. The operating system while running your computer has to pick its way through all this excess material. There will be bits of programs which were not completely uninstalled, parts of programs which were never completely installed, fragments of miscellaneous data, useless drivers, and a multitude of other bits and pieces.

The answer is to clean your registry and remove all the material which is not needed.

III. Computer Restarts After Download?

Windows 7 Nvidia Driver Problem?

I would suggest getting the Vista drivers for your card but make sure if you have 64 bit windows to get 64 bit drivers and the same goes for 32 bit windows.|||The driver package from nVidia most likely is not compatible with Windows 7. You can manually install the driver via Device Manager, which is built into Windows. I have extracted the files for you and they can be downloaded from the following URL:

http://sites.google.com/site/pwdionline/

Your driver packages are are somewhat down the list. I had to split them into 5mb archives because of space restrictions.

1. Download the driver packages

2. Right click the first package and extract the archive contents (it will automatically pull from the rest of the archives)

3. Click START

4. Right click 'Computer' and select 'Properties'

5. On the top left, click 'Device Manager'

6. Expand the 'Display Adapters' and right click your graphics card (it might have a generic name)

7. Choose 'Update Driver Software'

8. Choose 'Browse My Computer for Driver Software'

9. Click the 'Browse' button

10. Navigate to where you extracted the driver package

11. Double click the driver INF file (might be called nv_disp)

12. Follow the prompts to install and restart your computer

Let us know if this works. If you need a 64-bit copy, email me at compelx@gmail.com

Windows 7 shows blue screen after starting windows logo then it automatically restart in normal windows?

I have the latest video card nvidia 9500 gt drivers installed this appeared three days ago from now where every time I start windows 7. If the GPU is 1GB your PSU should be 400 Watts or better, otherwise you will have problems, read the specs on the box, for PSU supply minimum requirements?|||it helps to know the stop error message you receive during the blue screen crash. Also can you start the computer successfully in safe mode?

Any number of things could be causing this problem. A failed windows update, hard drive corruption, power supply problems (such as power supply needing replaced) and hardware failures are just some examples. If you can get into windows (even in safe mode) you can stop windows from automatically restarting, thus allowing you to see the stop error information. Here's how...

1. Start windows (either in safe mode, or normal mode) and logon to your desktop.

2. Click the start orb (or start button in safe mode) right click "Computer" and click properties in the menu that appears.

3. In the window that appears, near the top left, click on the link that says "Advance System settings"

4. In the System Properties window, make sure you're looking at the "Advanced" tab then under "Startup and Recovery" click the "Settings" button.

5. in the "Startup and Recovery" window, uncheck the box that says "Automatically restart" then click "Ok" to close that window, then click "Ok" in the system properties button to close it, and apply the new setting.

Now when you have a blue screen stop error, the computer will continue to display the blue screen until you turn off the computer by holding the power button until the power cuts off, or until you pull the power plug or remove the battery (laptops only). This will allow you to read the information, and write down the stop error code number

EXAMPLE: stop error 0x0000007

Generally there is also a filename listed near the top or bottom of the blue screen associated with the cause of the error. you can use google to look up the stop error by going to gogle.com and putting that stop error code in the search box and windows 7

EXAMPLE google --> stop error 0x0000007 windows 7

Hope this helps

Do I need to install drivers after building a Windows 7 machine?
